FLMMA Coral Finder workshops Suva, February 2010
In 2010 the CICBP, in collaboration with the Fiji Locally Managed Marine Area Network (FLMMA), the CICBP ran two 4-day coral identification (ID) workshops. Sponsored by the Packard Foundation the workshops trained over 50 people to:
- identify corals to genus regardless of growth form
- apply these skills to resource monitoring
- understand the basic principles of species level ID.
